Reefs, rainforests, remote islands
Australasia & South Pacific
The far side of the world.
Plan my Australasia & South Pacific journey →The far side of the world.
From the Great Barrier Reef to the Southern Alps, from the coral atolls of French Polynesia to the tribal villages of Papua New Guinea — Australasia offers wilderness, wildlife and warm hospitality in equal measure.
Our Australasia specialists have driven the Red Centre, sailed the Great Barrier Reef, heli-hiked New Zealand's Southern Alps and slept in overwater villas across the South Pacific. Every journey we design uses that hard-won ground truth — the exact reef mooring with the best coral cover, the New Zealand lodge that pairs helicopter access with the country's finest cellar, the Fijian island resort that quietly protects a marine reserve.
The region rewards travellers who take their time. We suggest at least two weeks to combine Australia's outback with the reef, or New Zealand's north and south islands, or an island-hopping tour of Fiji and French Polynesia.

Unmissable experiences.
A curated selection of the Australasia experiences our specialists love most — every one of them fully customisable inside a private, bespoke itinerary.
The Great Barrier Reef
Snorkel and dive with marine biologists on the world's largest coral reef — from Lizard Island, Haggerstone Island or a private live-aboard yacht.
Uluru & the Red Centre
Watch sunrise light Uluru's ochre walls, then dine in the desert under a sky of a billion stars.
New Zealand's Southern Alps
Heli-hike Franz Josef Glacier, sail Milford Sound and stay at Blanket Bay, Huka Lodge and Matakauri — three of the world's greatest lodges.
French Polynesia
Overwater villas in Bora Bora and remote Fakarava — but also the wild Marquesas, Rangiroa's shark-filled passes and Tahiti's black-sand valleys.
Fiji
Beyond the resorts — luxury private-island stays at Wakaya, Vatuvara and Kokomo, plus family-owned reef expeditions in the Yasawa Islands.
Papua New Guinea
The Sepik River, the Highland tribal festivals and diving Milne Bay's WWII wrecks — one of the world's last true frontiers.
